It is Friday

This is the awesome Dave Lee on reeds and his lovely daughter Fran on vocals. The others in the quartet were Laurence Canty on base guitar, Peter Boocock on drums and Peter Major on keyboards.

Dave is in the aftermath of a back operation but he comes alive with his saxophone .....he says its much better than painkillers and I am sure he is right.

Fran has a beautiful mellow voice and keeps getting better and better.

A truly great jazz night.
