Out of the darkness

It's getting too dark too soon for my liking and any blips during the working week are increasingly difficult to find in the time available. In the meantime there may have to be more nocturnal shots such as this scattered throughout my journal.

For those of you not familiar with Edinburgh this is the North Bridge leading to the Balmoral Hotel that sits on the corner at the junction with Princes Street. Both the bridge and the hotel stand as testimony to the great railway expansion of the Victorian era.

The sooner we are out of this darkness the better.
