a big thank you. ..

....from a very happy little boy....

on Sunday (in between getting sick) Cooper was rocking on Stuart's aunts rocking chair...
Cooper:I really like this rocking chair...
auntie E: we brought it back from Canada but we don't use it very much anymore. ..

Cooper sat rocking away looking very thoughtful. ..then...
Cooper: if you don't use it anymore how would you like to give it to someone who'd really like a rocking chair. ..

everyone cracked up laughing. .. but he didn't get the chair. ...


on the school pick-up run yesterday I was telling Em the story. ... he really is a character this boy...

later on I saw a figure go past my bedroom window.... it was Steve.... with this rocking chair for Cooper. ..

this morning one he was up & dressed I called him through. .. his face lit up = a very very happy boy...

he's been on it most of the evening rocking away....

(we also had parents evening tonight. .. he's a little star & he's doing really well... only thing is he has to work on the listening skills. .. too many interesting things going on in the classroom. .. teacher says he has a great knowledge of the world around him & is very interested in nature and the world (which we all know). ... they hear lots of stories. ... which can be a little worrying. .. he has 2 wonderful teachers. .. very proud of my boy. ..)
