Nothing Gold Can Stay

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leafs a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Another late night blip. Had to get inventive with some leaves and lighting. Made me think of the poem by Robert Frost. The only reason I know this poem is from Ponyboy reading it in the film The Outsiders. A favourite film of mine when I was younger. Rammed full of young hot actors from the 80's
