Beware Of The Crow, Or Not?

The legend goes that crows got their color after flying down a chimney when searching for some food. They woke up the evil spirits who were living there.
So they were punished for their kleptomania.
What crows also do together is distracting other birds. For example for stealing an egg from a nest of another bird.

Parents sometimes use the crow to scare their children if they are naughty. Then the parents will say that the crows will come to pick their eyes out. Picking out the eyes is not entirely fiction, crows can be scavengers.

But not many people know that a pair of crows are loyal, often till death do them part. Crows are fixed pairs, unlike many other birds, such as the jaw and the raven, who live in groups.
