The Swedish Forest Surrounds a Wind Turbine

This turbine is one of a group seen on the horizon, a few kilometers from our house. I drove around to the group today. This one is closest to our house and the photo is taken from the hilltop where three of the others stand.
In one way they dwarf the forest, towering above it to reach the clear wind, away from the turbulence of the trees, but in another way the forest surrounds them and swallows them up. Forest, all the way to the skyline and far beyond.
This turbine provides electricity every year, equivalent to that used by 1200  houses.
