Above your pay grade...

I had a nice wee encounter with our boss4'd or something. Basically director of our division I think, a fair few pay grades above me anyways. Completely non work related as I let him butt in front of me at the coffee machine for no other reason than he was after one and I was doing a barrage of teas.

I always really liked him as he is really down to earth which possibly sounds cliche but it's rare (I find anyway) to come across people that high up in organisations that can quite easily interact with people at all other levels of the organisation.

We had a nice wee chat about greying facial hair as the coffees brewed or whatever it is they do in those machines.
