Glasgow buskers
I was in Glasgow today for various shopping and practical stuff (not least to get my phone repaired as it suddenly died on me last night - if I am likely to have had your number in my phone then please do get in touch to tell me it again, as I stupidly didn't back up my contacts and will have lost them all). I managed to get most of what I wanted, but found it exhausting! The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak (and enormous) and all that.
Anyway, these buskers in Sauchiehall Street near the Buchanan Galleries cheered me up today. I think I've seen them in Stirling too - that funny fiddle with the trumpet thingy certainly looks familiar. I ended up walking past them several times and they always seemed to be playing the same thing, so the people working in the nearby shops were probably really fed up with them, but they were really cheerful and polite and it brightened up my day anyway!
