the further adventures of Grace
Lovely walk in Abbot's Wood this morning. Pleasant surprise to find the potholes in the car park have been filled. A local civil engineering firm have been clearing the gullies and levelling some of the paths. The puppies had a great time climbing and sniff-inspecting the piles of debris from the stream bottom.
To give all the puppies a chance to explore, I rotated who was coupled starting off with Storm and Emily. Grace is a slow starter to enjoy a walk and hates being pulled along by a more enthusiastic sibling. Grace and Emily did the middle stretch together before Storm tired and Grace speeded up for the return to the car while Emily enjoyed being solo. It worked well today so I will repeat the process.
I changed the lens on my camera to the little 16-50 which is very light and easier to carry while managing three dogs. It was worked well today for wide angled shots of the lake and the dogs can't go further than 16 feet away. All in all, a successful experiment with camera and leads :)
