Carew Celtic Cross

The complex carvings are almost hypnotic. There are parallels with moorish and Islamic designs too - it's fascinating.

We've had a great day today: exploring the excellent Carew Castle, a hearty pub lunch and yomping along the Pembrokeshire Coast path and the lakes and woods around Stackpole. And it didn't rain!
