Feeling a bit like in Hitchcock's The Birds.

Finally got the NEX back this morning after repairing the LCD and a thorough cleaning. Hurray!! Store clerk could have been nicer though. After initially saying that probably would be covered by the warranty, a later phone call told me that no way - it had been dropped. I never negated that from the beginning and was OK with paying for the repair. In fact, twice - both due to CC pulling it off the table while I was working on the computer. Anyway, he told me today in quite an animated theatrical voice, "It took quite a hit!!" as if to cover his initial assumption about the warranty. haha, I nearly laughed. I didn't tell him how many sweaty miles it has been with me on the bicycle or other adventures in the cold wet and snow... ;-))))

I have to say it is a clincher for me... comparison and choosing between DSLR and small mirrorless. I really enjoyed playing with the big DSLR, but everything just felt RIGHT when I picked the NEX up this morning.
