Rough Sea at Cemaes Bay, Anglesey
Another busy day: set off at 9.30 this morning (temperature 9 degrees all day) to drop the car off at the garage for it's MoT. Very cold wind but I walked into the centre of Amlwch for my check up at the dentist - all ok! Coffee and muffin in the cafe in town to waste some time before walking back to the garage - car was fine apart from a couple of very small things.
Did a bit of grocery shopping then drove further along the coast to meet up with my dear friend H. We were keen to try a new cafe in Cemaes and were not disappointed, the food was delicious - we even had complimentary mince pies to finish with, our first this Christmas.
Feeling full, we decided to brave the elements and walked along the headland so that I might get some dramatic sea scapes - it was pretty cold and very strong wind, but H and I are pretty tough cookies and had a lovely time.
Today's blip is looking across the entrance to Cemaes Bay and on the headland you may be able to spot Saint Patrick's Church (Llanbadrig), which is where I took this photo nearly a year ago.
Fire lit, waiting for MrD to come home from work. Have a lovely evening everyone, stay warm x
