love you
It's hard to get angry at graffiti when it's written in English. I saw this gem on my way to school in the morning. It's on a wall of the school grounds. It might not be real graffiti, as in, it might not be permanent, but it's still. I wonder who wrote it and who they were writing for... the kids will usually tell me who their friend's are dating, but I never hear it from the couples themselves. That's understandable, they are self-conscious teenagers, but they love ratting each other out- as long as I don't tell the other teachers. They don't realize however, that the other teachers usually already know (I don't tell them, but I hear them talking about it sometimes.) Kids are funny.
Somewhat unrelated, if the hood of your jacket or sweatshirt is inside out it means "you aren't looking for a boyfriend" aka, taken, but if it's right-side in, it means you're single. So sometimes when I'm walking down the hallway with a messed up hood, my students will run up and ask "do you have boyfriend?!?" To their disappointment, I ask them to turn my hood the other way.
