Cheap Blip

You may think I only knit jerseys for cheap blips; well part of that statement may be true.
I certainly get a cheap blip out of a knitted jersey, but in fact it takes a lot of woman hours to exact this amount of cheapness.

The jersey modelled by Mickey the resident monkey, is for a family member yet to make an appearance, and for that, it might be considered bad luck to parade it before the due date.
You may notice it is designed for growth- there is no knowing the size of the emergent infant, given it's genetic heritage.

There is a tense atmosphere pervading the Dower House this morning over the question over relentless fish eating to accommodate the partial vegetarianism of one of the inmates.
Somehow in winter, meat hits the spot that fish never can for me, and therein lies the problem: eat fish with one menu, or eat fish and meat with two menus and one chefette.
We have yet to resolve this issue..........
