Marina Bay Sands

Off to Bali toady. Had our breakfast, today we were one of the earliest for a change! Cooked a couple of eggs and had our toast and fruit. We then went to post things back home. We both sat in the corner and tried packing our things into tiny boxes. Morag had slightly more stuff than me so her box had to get strapped with masses of sellotape! Anyway, we got our boxes sent of safely. We then went to buy an adapter for Morag for her camera as she she can't charge it. Went to Starbucks for a quick lunch before running back to the hostel to catch a taxi to get to the airport. The taxi driver told us that the airport was voted the best in the world. You could tell why. We went to check our bags in and they told us that we hadn't paid for the flights. So we had to buy them again. I couldn't look on my bank account to see if expedia had charged me if not. Anyway...we then checked our bags through and went through. They had this crazy tree called 'the social tree'. You took a picture of yourself and then added it to the social tree and your picture would enlarge really big on this tree so everyone could see it and then it would move away! You could post it to facebook or get it emailed to you which was fun! Flight to Bali! Airport was really small. Took a taxi to one of the hostels we had found on the internet. Didn't like the look of it so we walked around for ages until we found one for a good price. Had a nice supper and heard music that night but had no idea where the nightlife was!!
