Morning walk in the forest

The morning was sunny, but we knew rain was coming in later in the day, so we got out this morning for a walk in the Forest of Fontainebleau - in the Gorges d'Apremont area. After our walk we went for a stroll around the nearby village of Barbizon, looking at the different mosaics of paintings of the Barbizon School of Painting. Then it was back home for our fondue lunch. The afternoon was wet as predicted, so we had a relaxing afternoon at home reading and playing Scrabble.
