The Thames

I felt a bit miserable today and so did what I know is best to cheer up with a good walk in the fresh air. It was a crisp Autumn afternoon and I wandered through Southwark park, along eh river from Bermondsey and along last Shad Thames to Tower bridge. The view of the city from this side of town is pretty impressive but I was more amazed to see how many cranes dot the city skyline. There seems to be a new fancy building erected every year so let's hope we don't loose the historic feel of London too soon.
