1WTC's spire officially counts as part of the building so the 400' extra height tops the building off at 1,776 ft high making it the tallest building in the western hemisphere. Sorry Chicago, but if you think about it we both got a long way to go to beat dubai :/ Hey as this picture shows tho, this building is even higher than the sun at high noon this time of year, so we got that.
