Les Sentiers Ocres

We had lunch today in Rousillon,which takes its name and its colours from the iron rich stone and sand around it. There was time to walk through the ochre cliffs heritage site nearby.

There was also time to buy a brightly coloured woollen scarf trimmed with pompoms that the lady tending the store assured me were synthetic. Not that I care, but if so they are the best fakes of rabbit fur that I have ever touched.
