Torlesse Range

As I can't climb the mountains to see them up close for myself I gaze and wonder from afar. Shadows on the snow at different times of day indicate the shape of rocks below the skyline. Here the shadow below The Gap late this morning suggests there may be pinnacles.

The snow has retreated a lot in the last week, but it's not too late for fresh falls.
