A walk in the forest

Mummy and I went for a walk through the forest today. The wind was really strong but the trees kept us sheltered. It wasn't so sheltered when we emerged from the forest, though, onto the wet and splashy path up the aptly named Windy Hill ... it's a good job my hat fits tightly!

"It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men's hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanation from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit."
(Robert Louis Stevenson)
