Down in the woods

Today I had to go see a Dental Technician so having some time on my hands and being in an area which I had traveled through every day for some 11 years, and always meaning to stop and investigate more. I made an effort and found a wonderful wooded valley with an ambling stream running through it?
The peace and quiet was amazing! Because of last night's frost, leaves were falling almost constantly and you could here them 'rattling' through the branches on their way to the ground.
I just had to sit and listen because that and the sound of the babbling water was all there was to hear.Oh! And my heartbeat. PEACE.
