Tates

The potato harvest continues. Potatoes here are referred to as 'tates.' I am sometimes offered payment in kind on my visits to farms. On on visit, the client decided a longcase service was too expensive but offered me a chihuahua in exchange. Another client regularly delivers me sacks of potatoes in exchange for small jobs done at the farmhouse.
