Life through the lens...

By ValC

A day of two halves.

(Best looked at large.)

This morning visited Cley marshes. The Norfolk Wildlife Trust reserve.
After last nights frost, it was a beautiful morning. So crisp and clear.
Many ducks, waders and geese about.
Highlights:
Bearded tit
Avocet
Marsh Harrier
Pintail.

However the sunlight shining on the swans and the teal was the special memory for me.

Then on to Sheringham Park, which is owned by The National Trust.
Details see here
After a picnic we had a lovely walk through the woods.
Climbed up above the treetops to the top of the look out tower.
A magnificent view out to sea. (unfortunately spoilt by wind turbines!)
Also a lovely view inland over the parkland and woods.
Still lots of lovely Autumn colour.
We saw several crossbills up in the pine trees. Also a roe deer, and nuthatch.

We have again had a wonderful day, and another glorious sunset on the way back.
We are so lucky!
