9.1C with grey cloud and a strengthening breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I walked down to the shore after lunch as the breeze began to strengthen. I decided Maeve should have a coat on to make sure her back was kept warm.

The sun was trying to make an appearance but we only got brief glimpses when we were down on the beach trying to get some pictures of 'Valhalla VI' just about floating as the tide went out. I liked this crop with the Southbound train in the background and the dog walkers on the beach. You might just be able to make out the level crossing (to the right of the train) we use to get to the beach when we walk down the field.

Too cold for potato harvesting. The last two rows will have to wait.
