Needle in a haystack

This was a quick food break at Chatuchak Market in Bangkok, reportedly the world's largest weekend market. It's certainly a sight to behold and crammed full of perspiring and shouting bargain hunters.

The problem with Bangkok is that the shopping is just so good (and cheap) compared to Cambodia that you go a bit overboard. I bought 6 t-shirts in the space of a couple of hours, plus god knows what else made its way into my bag. The day before I went down the infamous Khao San Road in a normal t-shirt and emerged the other end wearing a singlet. Bangkok can make an annoying backpacker out of all of us.

Major shopping fatigue by the end of the day and ankles still sore 2 days later.
