Sophie came home last night and announced that she had put her hand up and volunteered for a speaking part in the school Christmas Play.... I almost fell off my perch as she is normally so shy and hates to be singled out. She told me her line "We come to tell you news, a new baby is born" and I had a tear in my eye. She has come such a long way since starting school and her confidence has improved so much...
