Picture Your Neighbour Project

Tonight I was back to Newtown for a session of the Picture Your Neighbour project. This initially involved sticking together A3 pages to make large black and white pictures of people captured in the local neighbourhood. Unfortunately that was when the first drama arose when someone wandered in and stole a laptop. We then all headed down with photos to paste in the back lane.

Second issue was that there was a breeze blowing and whilst not all that strong it was enough to cause the A3 pages that made up the large portraits to blow apart.

The third problem was that cars kept wanting to come down the lane around a blind corner.

The fourth issue for the night was when the owner of the wall adjacent to the Neighbour Centre took offence that a picture was being pasted on his wall even though last year it didn't seem to be an issue!

Well, an interesting night but one must remember it is Newtown!
