Kindle

Our Kindle. I'm a keen reader and will read just about anything when I have the time. I'm also a gadget geek - love the way technology has become so pervasive in recent years. Love tablets, Ipads, the fact I can have a wi fi doorbell ring that plays a Hawkwind song instead of a shrill ring etc etc. However, I just can't connect to a Kindle. It has it's place, people love it, but not me. I'm re reading Hardy's Return of the Native and it just isn't working for me. I'm going to have to get out the paperback format. It just 'feels' better then looking at this featureless screen. Ok, so a paperback page is also featureless, but for some reason I can connect more to it.
