A.S.M - All Smiles Meeting

Today was busy busy busy.

A 9am start followed by a whole day of many many lectures and much Robotics essay writing. I got up to about 1,000 words which felt pretty good considering Saturday's fail.

As 4th year student councillor I was attending the All Student Meeting where the student body at large gets to have their say on what issues have been raised at the Student Council meetings and make sure that the people they've elected to represent them are actually doing a good job. The meeting was recorded and put online so everyone can make sure their opinions are voiced and heard by the Union and University.

This is Louisa and she is, as her card suggests, Women's Officer for the SU and representing the interest of all women on campus. As you can see from her smile it's all fun and games on the Student Council. Erin blipped her here looking a bit more serious...

Afterwards we headed up to The Terrace Bar for a drink or two, then some salsa in Copper Rooms for me and then finally back home where we rustled up a cheese board and some egg and sausage sandwiches. Great culinary skills.

A nice portrait, me thinks. The smile is very genuine and I got to shoot on a 5D Mk II!!! I wish I'd had my 50mm 1.4 but the 1.8 I was borrowing sufficed perfectly.
