Promise

Tiny Tussock reporting

Well the day dawned full of promise.
The Boss promised to put his jacket on as he set out for a walk in the Gardens via the Cable Car.
The Cable Car promised to take him up for free if he could show his senior card which was at home in a drawer.
The trip up with the Cable Car packed to the rafters with “Boat People” (Cruise ship) promised to be interesting if he tried to breath out.
The wind on the top on the hill promised to cut him in two before he found a path down and some shelter.
This view from the top almost had promise of rain but he got sun instead.

AND The Cheese Scone at the Cafe down the bottom looked very promising and WAS delicious.

I was admired by a couple from Washington STATE who pointed out that it was NOT Washington DC. The Boss already knew that so asked them why they didn’t take a trip in New Zealand rather than a Cruise that just went to coastal cities They pointed out that we drove on the other side of the road so The Boss responded that they lived in a country that had put a man on the moon so why was driving on the “other side” a problem.

I think their response to that was not promising at all. The Boss thought they were enjoying the food on the cruise far too much.

The B’s are going out to diner this evening and I will stay behind and guard the gear…So to Bark!

It promises to be a quiet evening in Wellington.

The Hills are Alive with the sound of Blowing…..

Opps sorry Julie.
