I remember playing a game with my dad when we were small, stacking hands one after the other. Bottom hand pulled out onto the top, slowly, slowly, slowly...... fast, fast, fast. With increasing slaps, so it went when we were small often. A couple of visits ago, Grandad introduced it to Katie. She copies his artistic flick of the hand. She tolerates the slowly, slowly. slowly in full anticipation of fast, fast, fast. And all with very gentle landings still!
