Shard and Memorial

We have trevelled down to London for the ATP Finals and are staying near London Bridge. We went out for an evening meal and this was one of my first views of the Shard. As it was London Poppy Day I thought it was particularly appropriate to place this soldier's memorial in the foreground. I suspect the Shard looks more impresssive by night thant it does in the daytime though I was surprised to find it in such a heavily built-up area.
