Mr. & Mrs C. & the kids

Today we got a thin blanket of snow and a variety of furry and feathered friends in the garden. We had a Coopers Hawk come by and scared away a number of doves and squirrels this morning, fortunately he flew away with empty talons. The afternoon was busy with chipmunk, red, black and grey squirrels and an assortment of birds including this family of Cardinals. At one point there were seven in the garden two females and five males. I only captured five together. I think they were too cold and hungry to be chasing each other off as they were doing earlier. They are very territorial.
