Bismarck Palm Tree

This beautiful palm tree is native to the island of Madagascar, off the coast of Africa. I have only recently noticed that it has been used in landscaping in our area. It is a dramatic looking palm tree and in the spring it has cream flowers that grow in cluster
My husband and I have admired this tree that my neighbors planted ever since they put several in their yard last spring.

Moira and I took a walk down to the neighborhood pond and saw some bunnies and squirrels, but they were too quick for me to get a photo. This palm tree won the blip spot for the day.
