All the way up

Around the apartment, scaffolding has grown. It went from piles of bamboo poles and metal ties to this structure. On the far side, where the men are working, is some kind of crane/pulley system to lift supplies to the top.

There's not much by the way of safety standards. The men wear helmets, but we are allowed to walk in and out of the building, under the scaffolding whenever we need to. The market nearby continues with all its customers coming in full force and scaffolding build up overhead.

My guess is they are redoing the outside of the building and maybe some roof work too. I'll have to get updates from my friend though because I'm headed back to Thailand.
