Rufous Leaves--Leaf Blip XVIII
Pale red leaves on a path at the foot of Mt. Holyoke, in South Hadley, Mass. Many area have lost their leaves entirely, and where leaves remain, they are less bright and usually monochromatic. In taking this image, I did not suspect how important a role the numerous small branches would play--especially striking in large.
I think the artist Jackson Pollock might have liked this. It resumes my leaf series, now that I have more time after last night's presentation. (The series starts here.)
