Canal Lighthouse

There are two lighthouses that mark the canal entrance to the bay. In the background is an anchored ship called the Resko. The Resko was built in 2010 and is owned by a Polish company and is registered in the Bahamas. It is waiting for a load of grain. It's less expensive to anchor out in the lake rather than pay daily dockage fees.
Canal Park is great this time of year. Too cold for tourists so its not crowded and the parking is free during the winter months. After my trip to Canal Park, I went to the library and got four mysteries, stopped at the grocery store, then headed home.
