Domesticity

Mrs miketoons is having a day in London with an old friend of ours so I'm making an effort in the kitchen. Oven baked potato wedges with paprika and basil to go with a spicy vegetable mélange. Pfff.

But I have been racking up a few brownie points for use this coming weekend (Leyton Orient v Preston North End): I've taken to car for its MOT, done the shopping, prepared a bowl of sourdough culture for tomorrow's bread making and washed the dishes.

Everything's ready to cook when the wanderer returns. I think a small glass of Pinotage while I wait will fit the bill.
