Sunday in the woods

It was so nice to wake up today and have a relaxed morning together. Didn't get to bed until after 1am and the kids stuck to their usual 6am wake up. Bless those girlies. ;-)

L had her first venture outside since the arrival of the chicken pox as we went to the woods. I've been trying to get the light right when taking photos there as I find you get these little beams of light. I took the flash with me this time but didn't do much better. I've added it to my list of things to conquer next year.

Beef stew in the slow cooker all day and a little bit of editing in the evening. A thoroughly lovely family day.
