Sunset.

A beautiful end to a lovely autumn day.
It must have rained quite a bit in the night but I didn't hear it lashing against the windows for a change!
There wasn't a walk this morning but there was this afternoon and the sky had cleared to a lovely steely blue. The temperature was falling rapidly though and by the time we'd finished it was 5 degrees cooler.
We soon warmed up after a pot of tea in The Buttery. Always a welcome treat after a Castle Ashby walk!
As I left, I could see a band of cloud just pinking up with the sunset so headed off to a nearby marina to get some sunset shots. I was glad I did - I rarely manage to catch them at home because of the way our house sits and the angle of the hill we're on so this was a real treat. :-)
