A walk in the woods

It's almost impossible to take a bad photo when the weather is beautiful in the Lakes! We had such a lovely walk up the river towards Castlerigg….we got as far as we could go with Chris in his wheelchair then managed to get him onto this beautiful sunny, rocky spit where we all had a rest in the sunshine. Wonderful!
Then it was back to the house to prepare a meal for the 55 of us before packing up and driving home. All in all, a fabulous weekend!
