Autumn berries

After a lovely but quite late evening out at friends' house for dinner, we slept a bit later today...... was downstairs showered and dressed at 9am which is a bit late for me, but not too bad!

A very pleasant day weatherwise, lots of sunshine, with the odd shower. Have had a quiet day, housework and washing, got the sheets out to dry, they have not fully dried but have had a nice blow. Put a Coq au Vin in the slow cooker and looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Went to the library, then had a walk before popping in to leave some money for Emma that I owed her for tickets to her show. Now home, had coffee and cake, and going to have an hour to myself reading before dinner and dancing.
