I finished university today half way through the afternoon, so I met up with a friend and we went for a wander around town. We eventually found ourselves at the top of the Fourviére hill, by the Roman amphitheater (which used to seat over 10 000 people), overlooking the whole city. We tried to imagine how amazing it would be to sit right there in the middle of the amphitheater with an accoustic guitar at night, overlooking Lyon, completely lit up. How I wished I had my guitar here!
Later I quickly went home to get changed and eat before heading out to meet some friends to play bowling. It was absolutely hilarious. 3 girls against 4 boys, we really didn't have much of a chance to win. Though I did get a strike once I figured I had to "think like Ben".
Afterwards we went back to Penny's flat where we just chilled and hung out. Andrew and Kevin decided to join us later on too. It was mainly just all of us from Northumbria hanging out, which was really nice.
On the metro home, I noticed everyone on the metro seemed either sad or tired. Some guy must have noticed the same, as he randomly decided to take out his trumpet and serenade us all for the rest of the metro ride. Thought it was pretty funny actually.
