Beware of koalas!

Up at 9 and had my healthy breakfast. Duncan was fixing his windsurf. The zip in the inside had broken. Handed out masses of cvs in Noosa today. Hopefully find a job soonish. Duncan drove me around Noosa and showed me 'the Junction', 'the river' and 'Hasting street'. All the possibly places that I could work. Started at the Junction which is just over the hill from the beach. One lady was really nice and seemed like she might give me a job and said that she would call in the afternoon. Everyone else said that they weren't hiring until Christmas...bit of a bumer. Walked to Hasting street which is right next to the beach and it was the same story. Still handed out a couple of cvs but not much hope there. I then did a big walk to the river and went down the street that said 'Noosa river' which came to a dead end and I couldn't walk to the left as there were houses in the way. So I had to walk all the way back around. Same story at the river. No-one hiring until Christmas time. Chatted to one of the bosses who said she wasn't hiring but had a nice chat to her and then she asked me for my CV and said she would definitely get in touch if she needed anyone! Waited for Duncan by the big Pelican (which is a model). Crazy how many pelicans there are in the water. I was watching a crazy fish by the river that was swimming under the water catching masses of fish. Sea gulls got pretty stroppy about the amount it was catching! We just missed Max and Jess walking up the big hill to the house. Chatted to them for a long time and did masses of my diary this evening. Dunan cooked us a really good thai dish which was really yummy. Sat and watched a bit of TV with Max whilst doing my blips!
