Peli in Paradise

It's actually a pelican in Noosaville, but to me today this is paradise.

Work, for now anyway, is completed, and I headed north earlier today for a heavenly eight whole days of holiday....bliss!

The drive here was a breeze, it took just over two-and-a-half hours, the threatening rain didn't show itself too much and the weather in Noosa is beautiful. (It can be raining cats and dogs when I'm spending time in Noosa though and I will still describe the weather as beautiful...)

By the time I had booked in where I am staying, unpacked my bags and dashed out for a few essentials (food!) the day was beginning to turn into night, leaving a very limited time for a walk by the river and some photo taking. Handsome Mr. Peli thought himself to be rather a cool dude, perched on a post in the middle of the river, preening his feathers. :)
