APOCALYPSE

I think I've blipped this before. Today I'm doing it to send kind thoughts to our USA family and friends. It is one of Mundy's sunpaintings hanging on our wall, called The Drowned World - named after one of JG Ballard's novels. He painted it a couple of days before 9/11 and after that date it seemed as if the world was drowning in tears. Somehow, for me, the light behind those twin towers in the picture seems to herald a better future.

Well, that's what I like to think.
