Hollowed Church

As I was driving home from work today I took a few back streets to make it more interesting and keep an eye out for a blip. I found one along Maribyrnong Road in the form of the shell of a church that had been burned years earlier by an arsonist. The remains of it were kept and then a new church was built behind it.

I let myself in and took a number of photos trying to find the right angle. Unfortunately I didn't get a great shot of the whole remains as the suburbia that would show through sort of ruined the effect. However I liked this shot as it showed that they were ruins and that they now belonged to the pigeons, of which there were many.
