A day to wear your poppy with pride. For some of us it was a day to remember a beautiful soul who became an angel this time last year. She left behind two gorgeous children, and lots and lots of family and friends. I really do hope she found the peace she deserved, I just wish she could see what we all saw in her. She certainly left a big footprint on the world.

And also for our little family, it was a day to say goodbye to our little hamster Toffee. My youngest daughter is still devastated, Toffee was her first pet. A generally sad day all round.
