I love Disco the Dog. I never really thought of myself as a "dog person" until we got Disco, and now I can't really imagine life without her jumping all over the place, covering me in white fur, constantly attempting to lick my face, wagging and smiling like a loon. I love that dog owners talk to each other while wading through the wind and rain, even if they've never met before. I love that most of them greet the dog and ask the dog what it's name is, normally before even making eye contact with the owner. I love that having a dog makes us spend more time outdoors, whatever the weather.

We should all be more dog
